Position Overview
The Project Coordinator at Aqua-Chem is responsible for assisting the Project Management team in the delivery of projects within budget and schedule while maintaining communication with the customer.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Onsite; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience | $55,000 - $88,000

Essential Duties:
Support project managers in the execution of a project once a PO is received
Manage project document tracking, submittal receipt and distribution process
Participate in project status meetings, providing detailed updates on assigned projects.
Report on the status of project documents
Assist in monitoring the overall project schedules and budgets of all projects under his responsibility and taking appropriate measures in case of deviations to meet the schedule and within budget.
Assist in monitors the quality, safety and other requirements set for the realization of the project.
Checks and ensures that the commissioning of the installation is coordinated and carried out as specified.
Serve as point of contact with clients for projects when project managers are unavailable or when requested by a project manager.
Maintain project records, logs and files
Prepare and distribute standard weekly/monthly reports
Provide support for Factory Acceptance Tests and on-site customer coordination and scheduling
Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
Education/Experience:
AS Degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
1 - 3 years administrative experience in a technical environment; or 2+ years as an engineering assistant or EIT
Experience with engineering and/or manufacturing project management preferred
Requirements:
US Citizenship required, if assigned to Military projects/contracts.
Strong computer skills to include MS Office products, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat
Understand how to use and operate databases. Previous experience with ERP systems preferred
Able to work overtime as required
