Manufacturing Processor

The Manufacturing Processor I at Aqua-Chem is responsible for verifying project bills of materials. Entering appropriate manufacturing and labor steps into ERP system. Generating and issuing the manufacturing work orders with assigned projects. Responsible for retrieving revised manufacturing work orders. Collaborating with manufacturers, designers, and engineers to address manufacturing issues on projects.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Onsite; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: $26.00 - $34.00/hr, Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties:
Generate manufacturing work orders and routers for manufacturing of products.
Allocate material to projects that needs to be purchased.
Collaborating with designers and project engineers to develop manufacturing process of new products.
Applying GD&T principles to ensure accurate product dimensions and tolerances.
Create and modify CAD drawings to support manufacturing processes.
Troubleshooting issues with manufacturing processes and working to eliminate them.
Recognize the need for and perform simple computer design customization.
Verify designs can be manufactured.
Initiate engineering change notices when required.

Education/Experience:
Minimum education of High School Diploma or GED. 2 to 3 year of technical training in manufacturing, machining practices, and GD&T practices.
2 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
A strong understanding of manufacturing principles and practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
Strong GD&T skills, with the ability to apply these principles in a practical setting.
Experience reading, creating, and modifying technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and other application.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
